Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to prepare for a coding interview?

For most people with some programming background, three to four months of consistent daily practice. This course is structured over sixteen weeks at roughly 12 hours per week. Cramming for two weeks rarely works because pattern recognition builds through spaced repetition.

Which programming language should I use in interviews?

Python is the most common choice because it minimises boilerplate and lets you express ideas quickly. Java and C++ are equally acceptable and sometimes preferred at companies with those stacks. Use whichever you can write fluently without looking things up — the course provides solutions in all four.

Is grinding LeetCode enough on its own?

Usually not. Volume without pattern extraction produces people who have solved 500 problems and still fail interviews, because they memorised solutions rather than learning to recognise structure. This course is built around pattern identification, spaced repetition and explaining your reasoning aloud.

Do I need system design for entry-level roles?

New-grad loops usually include a light design discussion rather than a full system design round, and mid-level roles onward include it properly. The final phase covers a structured approach that works at both levels.

What happens in the mock interviews?

You complete four timed sessions with a mentor acting as interviewer — two algorithmic, one system design and one behavioural. Each is recorded and returned with written feedback on correctness, communication and specific things to change.
